Time Square?

The rumors have been confirmed.
The supermodel and co-founder Kara Young Georgiopoulos is on a billboard in Times Square.

On November 22, 2010 Hair Rules celebrated its unveiling of its new billboard in Times Square. Dickey and Kara gathered with select celebrities and industry insiders at Vivid Lounge in the Renaissance Hotel. The guests sipped on "Wavy Tonics" while admiring the beautiful Kara Young which was the backdrop outside the hotel. The billboard features Kara with beautiful, luscious, full waves to promote their NEW Blow Out Line. The Blow Out product line allows women to fully enjoy the versatility in styling their natural hair. The true meaning of your choice, your hair, your rules goes with the Hair Rules motto of choosing products that are kind and gentle to your hair. The new Blow Out product line allows women to not use harsh, permanent processes. To order this new product line, which is perfect for a holiday gift visit the HairRules website.

Experience of a Lifetime

Four lucky ladies got an experience of a lifetime through the social media tool, Facebook. Hair Rules was extremely generous and decided to run a competition that offered four lucky ladies the chance to have a makeover by Dickey. The four winners were chosen by Dickey. Each of the four women that won all had different hair types. The competition had approximately 100 applicants. The four lucky winners were: Andrea Pollack, Meredith Augustin, Sari Pinghapsari and Nyree Emroy. Each of thefour ladies got their hair colored and styled. They were then invited to a VIP Twitter Party later that night hosted by Dickey and Kara.

However, if you did not get the chance to be one of the four very lucky winners Dickey is always holding seminars. On November 14, 2010 Dickey went to Atlanta, Georgia where he held a seminar at hair salon Urban Bella. Dickey answered everyone's questions on hair. The model was getting her hair straightened by the new Blow Out Hair Line.

Also, check out the hair rules website for upcoming events in your area. I know as a New Yorker on Dec. 1, 2010 Blue Mercury (2305 Broadway) is hosting an event where you get to meet with a texture specialist from Hair Rules.

More Than A Salon

The hair salon, Hair Rules, is more than a salon. The owners, Dickey and Kara, work hard to make the salon have a unique vibe and stay classy. Since Hair Rules grand opening event on Sept. 21, 2009 they are continuously working with organizations to help promote products and raise money.

iCandy and Hair Rules Event Hosted by Momtrends & Mamaista

On Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 Momtrends and Mamaista hosted an event sponsored by Hair Rules and iCandy. The event was called, Put Style Back In "Mom". The event was located at the Hair Rules NYC Salon. Dickey pampered fellow moms that were bloggers in the New York City Area. The event helped showcase new products from iCandy, along with giving moms a chance to be pampered by style guru, Dickey. The selected mommy bloggers were treated to a haircut and style along with a makeup application. The event helped kick off a great weekend at BlogHer 2010.
